INSECURE BEHAVIORS!
Posted by VanVoC on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 2:27:45 PM

I was on Facebook today, uploading some pictures onto my page.  I see that an old co-work of mine was online.  All of a sudden. . . the IM pops up from him. . . "THIS IS _____'S GIRLFRIEND, ARE YOU F____ING MY MAN!"

You can imagine the look on my face.  What is this woman doing logged on as him and spewing such nastiness out of her mouth to me-a complete stranger to her.  This poor man has left his Facebook logged on and his girlfriend is now digging through all his messages and perpertrating him on IM.  I hope she doesn't find what she is looking for!

We know people who do it.  We may have done it ourselves.  Insecurity causes people to act out in the most insane and peculiar ways.  Checking cell phone bills, calling strange numbers, hacking into emails, doing drive bys in the middle of the night.

What is the most insane/peculiar act of insecurity that you have witnessed or committed yourself (don't be shy, we can laugh about it now)?

SINGLES-Would you stay with no commitment?
Posted by VanVoC on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 12:14:53 AM

I have a few single girlfriends who have been with their man for many, many years.  They have purchased homes together , shared bills and have been around the world (physically and emotionally) with one another.  All of this, even though their men have told them they do not want to ever get married and/or have any more children.

My best male friend is a man of his word.  He tells all his women that he is not committing to them, he is not ever going to marry them, he is not going to have any children with them.  Yet these beautiful, educated, career established women still stay.

LADIES, WOULD YOU STAY WITH A MAN WHO BLATANTLY TOLD YOU THERE WILL BE NO COMMITMENT-EVER?

MEN, WHY NOT COMMIT?

The OTHER Woman/Man
Posted by VanVoC on Friday, August 07, 2009 at 2:22:00 PM

I recently had a discussion with a good friend about infidelity in relationships, particularly in a marriage.  We agreed that the married individual, with sane mind and body, committed an act that is simply wrong.  But what about THE OTHER WOMAN/MAN in this equation?  I cannot tell you how many times someone has stated that THE OTHER WOMAN/MAN, especially when they are a single individual, should not be the one the finger pointing focus should be on. . . simply because they are single and just acting out single person's behavior.

What do you think?
